Factory warranty of 12 months applies to all clients — B2B and B2C. Additionally, for consumers in the EU, a mandatory 24-month warranty applies according to the norms of the country of residence.

Pi-Pi Manufacturer Warranty: 12 Months

Pi-Pi offers a 12-month factory warranty from the delivery date on material and manufacturing defects. Applicable to all clients — B2B and B2C — regardless of country.

Coverage: manufacturing defects in material and moulding, non-mechanical cracks, deformation within operational conditions.

Additional 24-month statutory warranty for EU consumers

If you are a consumer (an individual ordering goods not for commercial purposes) and reside in the EU — a mandatory statutory warranty also applies: 24 months from the date of delivery. The warranty period is guaranteed by the EU Sales of Goods Directive (2019/771/EU) and national laws of EU countries implementing it. This right cannot be reduced by contract and operates alongside Pi-Pi's factory warranty.

Warranty for consumers outside the EU (UK, Switzerland, Norway)

In countries outside the EU, national consumer legislation applies — it may differ from EU norms. Pi-Pi's factory warranty of 12 months applies equally in all delivery countries regardless of national norms.

  • United Kingdom — Consumer Rights Act 2015: right to return, repair, or replacement within a reasonable time, up to 6 years (England and Wales) / 5 years (Scotland). In the first 6 months, a defect is presumed to be original.
  • Switzerland — 2 years under Article 210 of the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR).
  • Norway — up to 5 years for durable goods under the Consumer Purchases Act, minimum 2 years for other categories.

What the Warranty Covers

The warranty covers manufacturing defects only, provided the product is used and installed correctly:

  • Moulding defects
  • Material cracks not caused by mechanical impact
  • Product deformation under specified temperature and operating conditions

Exclusions

The warranty does not cover damage caused by external factors or misuse:

  • Mechanical damage and vandalism consequences
  • Improper installation or setup
  • Misuse of the product
  • Exposure to aggressive chemicals
  • Natural wear and changes in appearance during use

Limitation of Liability

Warranty obligations are limited to the replacement of the defective product only. We do not reimburse:

  • Cost of disassembly or reassembly labour
  • Losses related to facility downtime
  • Any other indirect costs to the buyer
