What is the difference between the Standard and Standard+ construction site urinals?

Trade-offs: HDPE offers higher chemical and UV resistance. However, for temporary mobile installations in European climates, LLDPE's flexibility and impact resistance are prioritized.

For construction site urinals and urinal basins for portable toilets, LLDPE provides better cold‑weather performance and impact resistance than PP.

Advantages of LLDPE:

• Cold weather performance: LLDPE remains flexible down to −30°C, whereas PP becomes brittle at 0…−20°C.

When PP is preferable: high-temperature sterilization and stationary indoor installations in warm climates. For construction and portable toilet applications, LLDPE offers superior performance.

Recommended:

• quaternary ammonium compounds (QACs)
• diluted acids (citric acid, vinegar, HCl <10%)
• diluted alkalis (NaOH <20%, ammonia)
• hydrogen peroxide (<30%)
• alcohols (isopropanol 70%, ethanol)
• standard detergents and soap cleaners

Use with caution:

• concentrated bleaches (>10%)
• organic solvents (acetone, toluene — rinse immediately)

Prohibited:

• concentrated acids (>30% HCl, sulfuric acid)
• strong solvents (gasoline, kerosene, paint thinners)

Recommendation: use standard sanitary products at recommended concentrations. Our urinals are compatible with ~95% of commercial cleaning agents.

A qualified installer can usually fit a construction site urinal or urinal basin for a portable toilet cabin in 15–30 minutes per unit. Our products are designed for quick deployment.

Installation process:

• Wall mounting: 2–4 screws/bolts into the wall or concrete (fasteners not included)
• Drain connection: stepped outlet Ø24/32/40 mm connects to existing sewer pipe using a standard rubber adapter or fitting.
• Trap: installation of a waterless trap is recommended for odor control.
• Waterless design: no plumbing connection required.

For construction sites: mobile installation without permanent fixing is possible — placement on the floor or in a mobile cabin with connection to a holding tank or existing sewer.
