Waterless urinal and camping sink for campsites, caravan parks and glamping

For small campsites, farm and field sites, caravan and holiday parks, glamping pitches and anyone running a seasonal outdoor site. Pi-Pi is a wall-mounted waterless urinal made of light plastic: no flush, no water connection, no drain. Fix it to the wall of a shelter, shed or toilet hut, run a hose to a canister, and it is ready to use.

The Pi-Pi camping sink covers the hand-washing point. Water comes from your own container, and the waste water runs through a hose into a bucket or drain – no built-in tank, no pump, no tap.

Why it suits a campsite

• No water supply needed: you can put a wash point and a urinal where no pipe reaches
• Takes the load off the toilet: beside a composting or separating toilet (Trelino, BOXIO, Kildwick, Separett, Biolan) it works alongside the toilet, not instead of it – less liquid reaches the toilet, so it fills more slowly
• Stands the weather: the plastic is frost-resistant down to −40 °C (working range −40…+60 °C) and doesn’t rust
• Light to handle: 1.4–1.5 kg, so it goes up and comes down easily at the start and end of the season

A simple pitch setup

• Choose a wall or screen near the toilet or shower point that can take a light plastic unit
• Hang the urinal and push the hose onto the stepped outlet Ø24/32/40 mm
• Take the hose to a canister or tank with a steady fall and no sags
• Put the sink alongside: a water container on a shelf, a hose from the sink into a bucket
• Add a vent only if you need one – that’s what the Ø70 mm port on Standard Plus is for

Standard or Standard Plus

Standard has a closed top – the simple choice for a shelter or hut with no vent. Standard Plus has a Ø70 mm top port for joining a vent pipe or the vent of a toilet next to it. Both are made in Estonia (EU).

Seasonal use

• Opening for the season: hang the urinal, connect the hose and canister, fill the sink’s water container
• During the season: rinse the urinal, the hose and the canister regularly and don’t let the canister stand full – smells come from standing liquid
• Closing: take the hose off, empty and rinse the canister and bucket, and either leave the unit on the wall or store it – it is frost-resistant down to −40 °C
• Emptying: do it in line with the site’s rules and your local requirements
